In 2007, Dr. Phillip M. Jackson and Mrs. Ledia S. Jackson founded The Corey Maurice Jackson Academy, Inc. In honor of their only son Corey Maurice Jackson. Corey was born on April 16, 1985. He attended Hamilton County Schools, and graduated in 2003. He continued his education at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, GA with dreams of one day becoming a professional football player. But sadly on April 4, 2006, at the tender age of 20, Corey passed away in a tragic automobile accident. In a quest of keeping their son's memory alive, Dr. & Mrs. Jackson are devoted to helping children reach their educational goals, and reach their fullest potential in life.
